Heart

"If I lie to him, he'll not get mad at me."
"If I lie to her, she'll not get mad at me."
"Oh I'll just shut up. It's not a big deal anyways."
Sometimes, this is how relationships work. Lying. Deceiving.
Telling yourself that," Nah it's ok. It's just a small matter. I don't have to tell her." only creates more problem for yourself. You know why? Because, there's no honesty.
You see, sometimes, it's better to lie than to tell. But realise this: One lie will lead to a bigger lie to cover up the previous lie made, and that, well, you know where this will go.
Be honest. If you feel that there's something wrong tell your partner. It might be trivial to you but to your partner, you're helping him/her open their eyes and realise a mistake they might have unknowingly made. And yes, sometimes, it's not wrong to make a mountain out of a moehil. You know why? Because it will show your partner how goofy you can be. And yes, laughing at your mistakes is the best way to keep your egos aside.
Come on. Keep your relationship honest. Don't keep thing away. Yes if you had kissed someone else, tell him/her. It might sound crazy but just remember, if you're daring enough to do that, then you must be daring enough to face the consequences of your action.

Cry Baby Cry

When was the last time you actually cried when you watched a movie?
Was it with someone?
Were you alone?
How was it?

Do you miss that moment?
That moment you shed tears?
Did it ever struck you that it would be the last time?
The last time, you ever cried when someone was around, with someone who could wipe it away?
And how would it feel, to watch that movie again?
This time, alone.
No one there.
To wipe
Your tears.
Will you dare cry once more?
He was sitting in his living room, watching TV. Life has been wretched for him. But still, he sat there thinking that there will be light at the end of the tunnel.
And there he was, enjoying his TV, and on along came the advertisements. He was still sitting down, but when the TV flashed a particular trailer, it flashed-back to a time where he wasn't sitting alone on that couch.
The mixture of feelings wasn't much of an arousal. It was more of a painful reminder. And that was why, he called me.
The boy, well, he was feeling awful. This is his side:
He never liked love movies. Because in his own words, "Love doesn't exist for me," he claims. And looking at it, who was I to blame him for feeling that way. He never had success in claiming his crush as his partner. He had been rejected all along. The word 'yes' never came out. But soon, it was his turn to say that magical word. "Yes"
One reason he never wanted to reject her, and to carry on liking the girl he was having a crush on for 2 years was because, he knew what it felt like to be rejected. Nah he didn't accept her because of sympathy. He genuinely liked her. And yes, the weirdest thing is, he NEVER fell for her at first because to him, she was just too good. She was like the princess, and he, the pauper. She was like Fiona, and he, Shrek. She was a marvel of God's creations, and he, maybe God's mistake. But still he gave both himself and her the chance. And well, the rest, it was a fairytale.
And yes, she gave him alot of courage. She loved him alot.
He, well, he changed her for someone better. He was willing to help her always.
And their fairytale was mystical.
Misunderstandings were handled with gentleness. No voices were raised. He never believed in shouting. And he never wanted her to face the same things she faced when she was in love with her previous partners.
And yes, they watched this movie together. It was a love movie. At first he was reluctant but looking at how much she actually loved that movie, and looking at how much she wanted to watch the movie with him, he couldn't break her heart. So they watched that movie, she being embraced in his arms. Emotions were high during the course of that show. And yes, there was this particular scene that he teared.
At first he was hiding it away from her, but when she heard him snorting away his watery nose, she turned back and saw his shaky, teary red eyes. And her voice rings through his head when he recalls what she said.
"Ai yo yo don't cry lah." Her puny hands went into action, wiping his tears away, embracing him even tighter, like as though the act of embracement carried a message like,"I don't wanna lose you honey. I wanna hold on tight to you. Forever."
And as he sits down miserably, with tears frozen in his eyelids, as old as time itself, he just misses her. The movie brought them even closer together because, they were having a confusing time together. Their plight was reflected in that movie. That was why it meant so much to them, especially to him. It was the first ever love movie he watched with her, it was the first ever love movie that he enjoyed. And during that time, he was glad that it was with her he watched that movie with.
And now, I guess, after scribing so much, one could imagine going through this plight. And realise this: HE is going through this. He is hurt. Very hurt. He misses her alot. But what can he do?
The doorbell's ringing in his head. But he isn't hearing the classic chimes. He's hearing this:
"Ai yo yo don't cry lah."
