Drop

No one can never fail. Read it carefully

Then, there are those who are labelled winners and failures in the eyes of the world. What is the defination of those 2 words? Let me try derive it:
I guess, the boy which I have been talking about so much in this blog, I rang him up. We were having a discussion and I guess, he really helped me alot deriving these 2 words.

He said," Those who try something and immediately get the outcome they are looking for are definately not failures cause, well, they didn't fail. However, would you then label someone who doesn't get the specific outcome he/she is looking for a failure?" That's when the debate started.

Yes, in a way, they can be labelled as failures cause they have definately not succeded in their quest. But that's when a failure can choose;

You see, when we fail our tests or exams, we usually tend to give up in that particular subject. In similar context, when something in our life go horribly wrong, we tend to curse and swear, cry and scream. Yup that's normal. But one thing we forget to do, apart from swearing, is actually picking ourselves up and trying it again.

We get so carried away by just that one failure that we tend to forget to remind ourselves that, well, you can only improve. What do I mean? Let me share something:

The boy, well, he shared with me this story. He never used to be good in Science. Honestly, even I would say that he actually sucked big time in it. There were even times where he got a zero score on his test. He gave up. His teacher was cursing at him, telling him that he was gonna go to hell and that he was useless. But that was when he actually sat down and he heard someone say this, and this is what he told himself: "Well, I can never do worse than a zero, so I can only improve from here on."

Improve he did. He scored a C6 for his final exams. Yeah. From a zero grade to a C6, that's what it means by "you can only improve after you have failed." The same for his Second Language Subject. He never passed his exams. Scores of 17 out of 70, 11 out of 70. Yup seeing those kind of results is definately detrimental to anyone's confidence. But that was when he was worked hard. Yes he did get help from someone he loved so much. And yes, she was one of the reasons why he passed his Second Language for the first time. And yes, even though he never said this, I consider him a winner.

That is when a failure is considered a winner. It doesn't matter if you win or lose cause, what matters most is that you gave your best. Yes definately at the end of the day the outcome counts for everything. It is detrimental for you being successful in your exams. You don't want to work so hard and yet fail. But that's when you are actually tested.

Life tests you on how much you can actually fight back. That is when your fighting spirit is seen. That is when Life gives you 2 options.

Option A: Just sit there and cry, and wish everything will be better.
Option B: Cry, but after crying, pick yourself up, and try even harder. Try, and try.
The keyphrase: Try, and try again till you get the result
This is just something I've learnt. Not from myself, but from the boy. He has taught me this. He is the reason why he is still surviving; He pulls himself up after he goes down. Yes he breaks down, but like a small kid who is in pain, like a sprinter who has pulled his/her muscle during a sprint in the Olympics, he gets up, and he pulls himself together to get to the end of the line, cause for him, it's not about winning. It's about trying your best. Self-accomplishment is most satisfying for him.
Don't just sit there and tell yourself that you have tried your best but there's still no improvement cause, only when there's improvement, that's when you have been trying your best. And don't stop there. Carry on that fighting spirit. Carry on cause, the world is full of endless finishing lines. You just have to keep going.
And what happens when you finally achieve "Perfectness." Well, that's when you should slap yourself. Slap yourself to remind yourself that,"Nothing's ever perfect in this world, cause, once perfection is obtained, life becomes a boring 'thing'." Life will no longer carry it's objective. And what's it's objective? I guess after saying so much you should be able to derive to an answer. If you can't, then well, try harder.
